    It’s the OS (Windows XP) that does something funny when you tap shift five times. When I’m pondering, I sometimes just tap the shift key or hold it down (when I know that the next character will be a capital ;-) ). I thought the shift key was only used in combination with another key, so it’s the ideal button to wake up your computer.
